YachtChefs.com’s mission is simple … to be the first port of call for yacht chef related recruitment and development.
It’s our mission to help you the chef to develop your skills and to offer you new work experience opportunities, wherever on yachts or in land based roles.
We are really excited to be able to offer stages and work experience through our Partners in London and in Holland.
Our Holland based stages are exclusively arranged through Neko Yacht Supply who are one of our Global Partners.
This stage is suitable for head chefs or sole chefs from yachts who have had culinary training in their early careers and were at sous or head chef level in rosette standard restaurants prior to yachting.
We have arranged through our Global Partner Neko Yacht Supply the following stage:
7 days in a 2 Michelin star restaurant in Holland
Arrive Sunday and spend the week in the restaurant, working as part of the brigade and learning from the Head Chef
Cuisine is classic French with a modern interpretation
Neko will also arrange for you to meet the suppliers for the restaurant so you can see how this side works as well
Your share of the accommodation costs per night are around Euros 50 and Neko pays the balance of around Euros40 per night
You would need to pay for your own return flights to either Amsterdam or Rotterdam
As this is a stage that will improve and give you new ideas and skills it might be that your current yacht are willing to cover the basic costs of flights and accommodation.
